Description
Weaving Christmas hearts is an old and rich Christmas tradition in Denmark with roots back in Germany in the 1700s, when papercuts were the highest fashion. H.C. Andersen embraced the technique and created the world’s oldest braided heart, but without a handle. When someone in the late 1800’s put a handle on it and hung it on the Christmas tree, it turned into one of the most beloved Christmas decorations in Denmark.
